CastTec offer a range of cast-iron fireplaces which integrate with our realistic 3D Electraflame Electric Fire (see video).

Arched and Tiled cast iron inserts can be fitted against any suitable flat wall (chimney breast not essential) when housed inside a standard 75mm (3”) rebated mantelpiece.

All mantelpieces in the CastTec range except the Bolection design have a suitable rebate.

Fitting is basically plug and play, although you may require a qualified engineer to provide a local socket or spur during installation. Marble or stone mantelpieces may also need to be fitted securely by a qualified fireplace installer.

As well as a realistic flame effect, the 3D Electraflame Inset has a 1.5 kW fan-assisted heater, however, in the summer months you may opt to use the attractive flame effect only. The fire also has both manual and remote-control options.
